*If you’re a mom and want some inspiration for photographing your kids…this is your lady right here. Karen Russell presented a workshop at the Scrap Shack in Houma, and I was honestly on the edge of my seat for 9 hours. She kept apologizing for the intensity and promising a break, but I was like…bring it on!!! She’s a mom who’s a great photographer and knows her stuff. Her main goal in life is just to have great images of her family…and man does she succeed.

*This is another woman who can do it all. I just discovered her off of another one of my favorite sites… bakerella. Her name is Ree, but she calls herself The Pioneer Woman. She seems to know it all about cooking and photography. She’s got great free Photoshop stuff and tutorials. Sher referred to her kids as her punks in this photo…doesn’t she just sound like fun?!
